We explored the Forest Service campgrounds near the wedding site. Reservations and information can be found by calling 1-877-444-6777 or at www.sceniccanyon.com. The closest campground is Tie Creek, about 6 miles from the wedding site. The next closest is the Hardscrabble campground. There are also many free spots along the river...they may be available if you are coming earlier in the week.

My friend Kim was making reservations for the wedding weekend at the Garden Valley Motel. After telling the owner that she was coming for a wedding, the owner told her that if enough wedding guests stay at the motel, everyone will get 10% of the bill. The motel is on the Banks-Loman Highway, just a couple miles from the turn off onto Middle Fork Road. The number is 208-462-2911, and website www.gardenvalleymotel.com.
